Specialty Diver

PADI UNDERWATER WRECK DIVER

Course Objective:

Explore sunken vessels, airplanes, and automobile.  This course introduces you to wreck diving and helps you to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe and fun wreck diving.

Requirements: 

·        Minimum age 15

·        PADI Adventure Diver

 Or equivalent certification from another organization

Time Requirement:        2 to 3 hrs class room (self-study-read Course material)

                                    Minimum Open Water Training: Four dives over two days

Course Materials:         Adventures in Diving Manual, Wreck-Pak including manual, video, and log insert,

Course Goals:

• Learn planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, and hazards of wreck diving
• The preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines, and other safety equipment
• Learn the use of limited-visibility diving techniques and emergency procedures

Specialty Recognition: Certification card, Patch, and Certificate.  Specialty certification qualifies for Master Scuba Diver

Your Adventures in Diving Wreck Adventure Dive counts towards one of your dives for Specialty certification
