Specialty Diver

PADI UNDERWATER VIDEOGRAPHER DIVER

Course Objective:

This course introduces you to how to take underwater videos, techniques for reducing editing of videos, stalking subjects, and dealing with the challenges of an underwater environment and its effects on light and composition of videos.

Requirements: 

·        Minimum age 10

·        PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water

 Diver Or equivalent certification from another organization

Time Requirement:        2 to 3 hrs class room (self-study-read Course material)

                                    Minimum Open Water Training: three dives over one day

Course Materials:         Adventures in Diving Manual, Video-Pak including manual, video, and log insert,

Course Goals:

• Learn basics of selecting, maintaining, and caring for underwater video equipment.
• Review videography fundamentals, such as exposure, focus, shot types, moves, story line and shot sequencing
• Learn how to dive with video equipment and how to interact with aquatic life.

Specialty Recognition: Certification card, Patch, and Certificate.  Specialty certification qualifies for Master Scuba Diver

Your Adventures in Diving Videographer Adventure Dive counts towards one of your dives for Specialty certification
