Specialty Diver

PADI UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHER DIVER

Course Objective:

This course introduces you to how to take underwater photographs, techniques for stalking subjects, and dealing with the challenges of an underwater environment and its effects on light and composition techniques.

Requirements: 

·        Minimum age 10

·        PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water

 Diver or equivalent certification from another organization

Time Requirement:        2 to 3 hrs class room (self-study-read Course material)

                                    Minimum Open Water Training: two dives over one day

Course Materials:         Adventures in Diving Manual, Photo-Pak including manual, video, and log insert,

Course Goals:

• Learn basics of underwater photography such as composition, underwater housing, and practical techniques.
• Review photography dive planning, procedures, techniques, and potential problems
• Learn care and maintenance of equipment in the aquatic enviroment

Specialty Recognition: Certification card, Patch, and Certificate.  Specialty certification qualifies for Master Scuba Diver

Your Adventures in Diving Photography Adventure Dive counts towards one of your dives for Specialty certification
