Specialty Diver

PADI NIGHT DIVER

Course Objective:

Explore the new world of night diving, meet new creatures, and enjoy the magic.

Requirements: 

·        Minimum age 12

·        PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water

 Diver or equivalent certification from another organization

Time Requirement:        1 hrs class room (self-study-read Course material)

                                    Minimum Open Water Training: three dives over one day

Course Materials:         PADI Adventures in Diving Manual and Night-Pak which includes manual, video, and log insert.

Course Goals:

·                    Learn how to plan, organize, and potential problems of a night dive

·                    Know the procedures and techniques of night diving

·                    Know how to properly use signals during a night dive

·                    Practice buoyancy, navigation, and buddy communication

·                    The proper use of lights and other special equipment necessary for night

Dives

Specialty Recognition: Certification card, Patch, and Certificate.  Specialty certification qualifies for Master Scuba Diver certification. 

Your Adventures in Diving Night Dive counts towards one of your Specialty night dives for certification as a night diver.
