Specialty Diver

PADI MULTILEVEL DIVER

Course Objective:

Learn what multilevel diving is and why you need to plan for multilevel dives. Learn about multilevel dive planning, organization, procedures, technical, and potential problems.  Learn to use the Recreational Dive Planner, Wheel, and computers.   

Requirements: 

·        Minimum age 12

·        PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water

Diver OR equivalent certification from another organization

Time Requirement:         2 to 3 hrs class room (self-study-read Course material)

                                    Minimum Open Water Training: two dives over one day

Course Materials:         The Decompression Theory, Dive Tables, and Dive Computer book

The Recreational Dive Planner the Wheel

Course Goals:

• Learn multi-level diving planning organization and procedures
• Use of the wheel and dive computers to manage dive profile
• Techniques for managing your air consumption, buoyancy, and buddy orientation

Specialty Recognition: Certification card, Patch, and Certificate.  Specialty certification qualifies for Master Scuba Diver

Your Adventures in Diving Multilevel Adventure Dive counts towards one of your dives for Specialty certification
