PADI EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST DIVER

Course Objective:

Learn basic equipment maintenance, care, and adjustments.  Learn how to buy, protect, and extend the life of your equipment. 

Course Goals:

·        Theory, principles and operation of dive equipment

·        Routine recommended care and maintenance procedures

·        Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance programs

·        Suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and operation of your equipment

Requirements:  Minimum age 12 (10 for Junior Open Water Diver)

Time Requirement:  4 to 6 hours (self-study-read Course material)

Course Materials: The Scuba Equipment Care & Maintenance book

Specialty Recognition: Certification card, Patch, and Certificate.  Specialty certification qualifies for Master Scuba Diver
